Willow Springs

Vacation Bible School at Willow Springs Baptist Church will be held June 3-7 with classes from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The Bible school theme is “The Great Jungle Journey.” A meal will be served each evening beginning at 6:15.

Family night will be held Sunday, June 9.

It will be a week of worship and fun.

The Rev. Jacob Howell is serving the church as interim pastor.

 

Grace Baptist

“The Great Jungle Journey” is the theme of Vacation Bible School at Grace Baptist Church, which will be held June 2-6. Classes will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. There will be classes for youth, ages three through seventh grade.

Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. for kids and VBS volunteers.

The VBS Celebration Night will be June 7. Families are invited to attend with their children.

The pastor is the Rev. Travis Tyler.

 

Valley Forge Free Will

Vacation Bible School will be held June 3-7 at Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church, with classes from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by worship, Bible study, crafts, activities, and more.

There will be classes for birth through eighth grade. The theme of the VBS is “Get” on Board for the Journey of A Lifetime.”

The church is located at 1502 Riverview Road.

 

Roan Street Free Will 

Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have services at 11 a.m. Sunday with Bro. Jonathan Sams preaching.

The pastor, the Rev. Donnie Harris, invites everyone to attend.

 

Union Hill Free Will

Vacation Bible School will be held May 26-29 at Union Hill Free Will Baptist Church, with classes from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each day.

“Breaker Beach” is the theme of the Bible school. Family Fun Night will be held May 29 at 6 p.m.

A meal will be provided each evening. For transportation call 423-213-7574.

The church is located at 125 Lane Hill Road.

The Rev. Tyler Street is pastor.

 

First Presbyterian

First Presbyterian Church Elizabethton will have both an online and live worship service Sunday at the 11 a.m. service.

The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present the sermon “Three’s Company, Divine Edition” based on Acts 2: 1-4. 

Meditation will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Adult Forum is at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in Martin Hall.

The church is located at 119 West F St.

 

First Christian

First Christian Church has worship at 9:45 a.m. Sunday. The current churchwide series follows the book “Cost” by Mike Baker.

There will be Bible study for adults, youth, and kids on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

First Christian has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box are asked to call the church office at 542-5651 for an appointment.
