KINGSPORT – Price & Ramey Insurance Group, a leading provider of insurance solutions in the Tri-Cities area of 110 years, is delighted to announce the appointment of Aaron Hammons, CIC, CLCS as its new President/CEO. 

 

After an extensive search process, Hammons emerged as the ideal candidate to lead Price & Ramey into the future. Bringing over a decade of leadership experience and a proven track record of insurance excellence to his new role, he has served for years on Price & Ramey’s Board of Directors and demonstrated exceptional leadership as the co-CEO of sister company, Mountain Empire Agency Alliance (MEAA). His dedication, contributions, and demonstrated leadership at MEAA uniquely position him to steer Price & Ramey toward success.

 

Throughout his 11-year tenure with MEAA, Hammons was proudly a mentee of Kieth Sims and has worked closely with Aaron Sims since Kieth’s passing in 2020. At MEAA, Hammons has led the company to incredible growth and many impressive designations, including SIAA Top Performer for 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021, as well as a recipient of the SIAA North Star Award in 2023.

Linda Nichols, current Price & Ramey President/CEO will remain on board until her retirement in December 2024 and will be integral in the transition of leadership. Hammons will also be joined by leaders, Ben Christian as Chief Strategy Officer, and Kellie Weaver as Chief Operating Officer. 

Hammons’ appointment comes at a pivotal time as Price & Ramey continues to evolve and expand to better meet the needs of both clients and communities. His focus on fostering synergy and collaboration amongst staff will further strengthen its position as a trusted insurance provider in the Kingsport, and larger East Tennessee community.
