The Roan Mountain Recreation Foundation 2024 Saturday Concert series is underway, with concerts scheduled each Saturday evening at the Erik Anderson Community Park in the village of Roan Mountain. The concerts begin at 6 p.m. each Saturday evening and continue until 7:30 p.m.

Scheduled this Saturday, June 1, are JP Mathes and Fiddling Leona (Americana); Country singer Adrian Bundy will perform June 8; The Roan Crows will perform some rock music June 15; and My New Favorites (Americana) will perform June 29.

The July schedule will feature Bluegrass musicians Richard Bennett & Midnight Brass July 6; Jim Benelish and David Dusylovich (classical) will perform July 13; Brighten the Corner (Old Time & Americana) will perform July 20; and Billy Crawford Blues Band will be featured July 27.

The Summer Concert Series will continue during the month of August with B.D. & B Frank performing August 3; the Swingbillies of Boonetown, August 10; and Empty the Bottle String Band, August 17.
