The June meeting of the Watauga Association of Genealogists  (WAGS) will feature a presentation on “Exploring FamilySearch” by Peggy Rosalie Britt Henderson. The meeting will be in the Jones Room at the Johnson City Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 4.

Mrs. Henderson is currently a Temple and Family History Consultant at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Johnson City, where she teaches others how to research and enter genealogy information for their families into the Family Tree and Ancestry programs. She assists individuals in creating their Family Tree accounts within FamilySearch and establishing their individual family trees. Mrs. Henderson states that “the overall purpose of Family Tree is to help individuals discover their family and, in turn, discover a bit about themselves.

The public is invited to attend all WAGS meetings held at the Johnson City Public Library, 100 W. Millard St., Johnson City, on the first Tuesday of the month.
