Decoration Day at Lyons Cemetery, 1259 Dry Creek Road, Elizabethton, will be held at 2 p.m. There will be singing and a memorial message by Rev. Danny Osborne. Join us as we remember our loved ones who have gone before us. Donations will be accepted for the perpetual care of the cemetery. 

The Isaac Whitehead Family Reunion will be held at Little Doe Freewill Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. A meal will be served from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and pictures to share. For more information, call Joyce at 895-3788

The E.E. and Dollie Gouge Morton Family Reunion will be held at 1 p.m. at the large shelter (on the left) at the entrance to Roan Mountain State Park Campground. TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) will meet at First Baptist Church, 212 East F St., Elizabethton. Weigh-in begins at 5:30-6:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 6:45 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.
