The Covered Bridge Jams kick off this weekend with music by the Thursday Night Boys at 7 p.m. at the Covered Bridge Park.

“We look forward to another successful season of music and entertainment,” said David Nanney, Recreation Manager. Covered Bridge Jams is a weekly concert series that runs from June through August. Covered Bridge Jams will feature a variety of music ranging from country, bluegrass, blues, and rock on Saturday nights from 7-9 p.m. at Covered Bridge Park.

“As a part of Covered Bridge Jams again this year, we will host a special bluegrass event on June 15 beginning at noon called “Covered Bridge Bluegrass Jamboree.” The night will feature another award-winning line-up. Headliners will be the Entertainers of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) in 2019, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers, and the 2023 IBMA Vocal Group of the Year and New Artist of the Year, Authentic Unlimited.

The public is invited to bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy music in the park.

Food trucks will also be available.
