Military couple re-unites after 30 years

On June 16, 2024, Colonel Joe Brozena retired USAF and his wife Jean of San Antonio, Texas met with Chief Master Sergeant Freddie Bradshaw retired USAF and his wife Dee of Elizabethton, at Juan Siao in Johnson City, after 30 years.
The Colonel and Chief were stationed at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan in 1994, where they were serving a tour of duty together and became friends. Colonel Brozena was the commander of the 353rd Maintenance Squadron and Chief Bradshaw was the 353rd Maintenance Squadron Maintenance Chief. Their mission was to ensure the operational and combat readiness of the C-130 Combat Talon aircraft assigned to the 353rd Special Operations Group, Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan.
Colonel Brozena and Chief Master Sergeant Bradshaw both retired after 30 years of active duty.
