Mr. and Mrs. Walter Everett will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 29, 2024.

Mrs. Everett is the former Cornelia Weaver.

The couple were married June 29, 1974 in Tucson, Ariz. They moved to Elizabethton in 1987 where Walter worked at the Johnson City Post Office and retired after 27 years of service. They are members of Lynn Valley Baptist Church.
