Town of Unicoi to host free ‘Movies In The Park’

UNICOI— The Town of Unicoi invites the community to its free “Movies in the Park” movie night Friday, July 10, at 8:30 p.m.
Buffalo Creek Park at the Bogart-Bowman Cabin in Unicoi (5012 Unicoi Drive) will be the backdrop for this family-friendly event that will show Disney’s Aladdin on the big screen.
“This is a great opportunity for families to get out of the house and enjoy some fresh air while spending quality time together!” said Communications and Programs Director Ashley Shelton.
Concessions will open at 8 p.m., including Little Caesars Pizza for $1 per slice or a whole pie for $6, and the movie will start at dark. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs as seating is not provided. Attendees are asked to please observe social distancing guidelines by maintaining 6-feet or more of distance between family groups. Food-handling precautions will be taken in the concession stand including masks and gloves to mitigate the risk of COVID-19.
