FOREST, Va. – On Tuesday, November 17, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its intention to conduct fall and winter sports in the spring semester. Today, the league office completed this process by releasing the football schedule.

Each of the conference’s nine football-playing members will compete in four conference games over a five-week period. In week six, results from the previous four games will be used to set matchups for a fifth game.

The schedule was created with travel in mind in order to eliminate overnight trips in accordance with COVID-19 best practices.

Emory & Henry will begin the season on Friday, February 26 when it travels to Ferrum College. The Wasps have back-to-back home games on Friday, March 5 against Southern Virginia University and on Friday, March 12, hosting Guilford College.

After a bye week on Friday, March 19, E&H travels to Washington and Lee University on Friday, March 26 to close out the regular season. Game times will be announced as they are agreed upon by participating schools.

Crossover play, pitting 1v2, 3v4, 5v6, and 7v8 in the conference standings, will take place on Friday, April 2. The contest between the top two teams from the regular season will serve as the first-ever ODAC Championship game.
