Trinity Baptist
A revival will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 458 W. Doe Ave., Elizabethton, Aug. 8-11 with services Sunday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Aug. 9-11 at 7 p.m.
The evangelist will be Dr. Benny Carper of the Bright Spot Hour Gospel Broadcast, based in Greenville, S.C.
Lunch will be served following the 11 a.m. service Sunday.
The pastor, Dr. James Richardson, invites the public to attend.

New Liberty
Addison Lorette Colbaugh, newborn daughter of Rev. Nick and Lynae Colbaugh, will be dedicated to the Lord Sunday during the 11 a.m worship service with Pastor Nick Colbaugh officiating.
Preceding the dedication service, music will be provided by the New Liberty Revival Choir.
All family and friends are invited to attend this special service.
The church is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Dept.

Grace Baptist
GriefShare grief recovery seminar and support group will meet at Grace Baptist Church in the annex house, 1118 Broad St., every Tuesday, starting August 24, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. until December 7.
GriefShare features nationally recognized experts on grief recovery topics. Seminar sessions include “Is This Normal?” “The Challenges of Grief,” “Grief and Your Relationships,” “Why?” and “Guilt and Anger.”

First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will have an in-person service Sunday at 9:45 a.m. Also, a live radio service will be held on 90.5 FM in the church parking lot at 9:45 a.m. The worship service will be posted to Facebook at 8 p.m.
Bible school will follow the worship service for all age groups.
Weekly Bible study will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the fellowship hall. Presently, the study includes a series titled “Twelve Ordinary Men” by John MacArthur. Everyone is invited.

First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have an online worship service Sunday at 11 a.m. Dr. Bryan Wyatt, pastor, will present the sermon “Life and Legacy” based on I Kings 19: 1-15.
Youth and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays With Jesus will meet online this week.

New Hope Church of Christ
Homecoming will be held at New Hope Church of Christ, 4529 Bristol Highway, Sunday at 11 a.m.
No Name But His will present special singing, after which a meal will be provided.
The church is located behind Crowder RV in Johnson City.
Everyone is invited. Paul Peer is minister.

Roan Street Church of God
The Roan Street Church of God will have inside services Sunday with Sunday School at 10 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m.
The Wednesday service will be at 7 p.m. with new interim pastor Donnie Harris preaching.
Everyone is asked to wear a mask on entering and exiting the services.
The public is invited.

Hale Community Ministries
Hale Community Ministries will offer a free back-to-school clothes give-away for children in grades K-12 by appointment on August 16, 18, 23, and 25. The primary focus is on low-income residents of Carter County, but anyone in need is welcome to receive assistance.
When calling for appointment, a list of clothing and shoe sizes would be helpful. However, you can bring that information when you arrive to shop.
