The final auditions for this summer’s performances of “Liberty: The Saga of Sycamore Shoals” are scheduled Sunday at Sycamore Shoals State Park.
Auditions will be held from 1 to 5 p.m.
The drama is a unique interpretation of the American Revolution as told by the Overmountain Men, colonists who defied the British law and settled on Cherokee land.
Performances will be held in June. The show dates June 3 and 4; 10 and 11; 16, 17, and 18; and 23, 24, and 29.
Also, Sunday afternoon, an Old Time Music Jam led by Art Lang will be held from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the park. Old-time musicians of all levels are welcome. Don’t play an instrument? Come to the park, kick back, and enjoy the tunes.
