The Elizabethton Twins could not finish off a sweep of the Greeneville Astros Friday as the visitors left town with a 5-3 decision.

With the outcome the Twins went to 31-23 and their lead in the Appalachian League West was trimmed by the Kingsport Mets to just 2.5 games. Elizabethton welcomes Johnson City for a single contest Saturday before a series against the Princeton Rays Sunday through Tuesday. The Astros own a 27-26 mark going into play Saturday.
