A battle of undefeated teams and dual-threat quarterbacks came down to a defensive stop, but Greeneville’s Cade Ballard stepped up for his team like he had all game, leading them to a 34-27 win.

The quarterback completed a 12-yard pass to Dorien Goddard on fourth-and-2 to get the first down and the chance to run out the clock.

“We just didn’t step up on defense tonight and I will take blame for that,” TA Dugger head coach Johnny Burleson said. “Their quarterback was good but we just didn’t wrap him up.”
