Emmanuel to award 22 degrees
Emmanuel Christian Seminary will hold its 49th commencement ceremony on Saturday at Grandview Christian Church in Johnson City.
Twenty-two degrees will be awarded, including the first master of Christian ministries degree. Three students will be awarded the master of arts in religion degree, 17 students will receive the master of divinity degree, and one student will be awarded the doctor of ministry degree.
The commencement speaker this year is E. Richard Crabtree, nationally known among the Churches of the Stone-Campbell Movement. He served in pastoral ministry for more than 50 years.
