Timothy “Tim” Arnold, 52, of 2604 Hwy. 91, Elizabethton, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014, in Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was the son of Dottie Ann Arnold of Elizabethton and was born in Carter County. Mr. Arnold was a mechanic at Fred’s Garage and also worked for himself. He loved the outdoors.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Marcia K. Arnold of the home; three daughters: Stormy Bowers, Knoxville; Adeania Bowers, Jasper, Ala.; and Jessica Arnold, Hickory, N.C.; two sons: James Arnold, Hampton; and T.J. Arnold, Elizabethton; eight grandchildren; a sister, Gail Arnold, Elizabethton; a niece, Shawna Burrow, and a nephew, Joshua Blevins, both of Elizabethton.
The graveside service for Mr. Arnold will be conducted on Wednesday, May 14, at 4 p.m. in the Arnold Cole Cemetery with the Rev. Buddy Arnold officiating. Active pallbearers will be Leonard Arnold, James Arnold, T.J. Arnold, Rock Blevins, Jerry Carden, Danny Campbell and Joe Lee George. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Caldwell, Junior Taylor, Gerald Arnold and Michael Centers. The family will receive friends in the Tetrick Funeral Home from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.
