In addition to the traditional approach, King University will offer an online bachelor’s degree in religious studies beginning fall 2014.
“King’s Religious Studies online program would include an emphasis on biblical studies, which is part of King’s heritage. Students would still receive a reformed theological viewpoint, but the program will also include a global perspective,” said Don Michael Hudson, associate professor of religious studies and chair of Philosophy and Religion at King University.
The program will include such courses as politics and religion in a global context, philosophy, theology, hermeneutics, and the study of world religions. These courses will be taught by world-class professors including archaeologists, theologians and experts in the study of the Bible, missions and youth ministry.
