Wilma Harmon Colbaugh

Wilma Harmon Colbaugh, 76, of Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at her residence.
A native of Watauga County, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Monroe and Mary McGuire Harmon. She had lived a number of years in Elizabethton.
Wilma was retired from the American Vending Service. She was a member of Mountain View Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Roderick Colbaugh; five sisters, Mae Vance, Rosa Hicks, Martha House, Dorsey Hicks and Viola Ward; and a brother, Filmore Harmon.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Herman Colbaugh; a son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Karen Colbaugh, Elizabethton; two granddaughters, Jessica Lewis and husband, Danny, Greeneville, and Amanda Colbaugh and fiancé Richard Eller; two grandsons, Justin Colbaugh and fiancée Brittany Jenkins and Cory Colbaugh, Piney Flats; great-grandsons, Calen, Jackson, Gideon, Brennan Lewis and Gunnar Eller; a great-granddaughter, Riley “Princess” Lewis; a sister, Ruby Hicks, Granite Falls, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Mae Harmon of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; two special nieces, Vickie Colbaugh, Elizabethton, and Carrie Morris, Lexington, N.C.; and a special friend, Alice Hyatt, Elizabethton.
The family would like to express our sincere thanks to Caris Hospice, especially nurses, Katie Blevins, Teresa Nickels, Stacey, Ginger and Tracy Cox and aide Linda for the compassionate care Wilma received during her illness.
Graveside services for Mrs. Colbaugh will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14, in the Emmert Cemetery with Mr. Clarence Cannon and Mr. Gene Oaks officiating. Interment will follow the service. Active pallbearers will be Doug Colbaugh, Justin Colbaugh, Danny Lewis, Calen Lewis, Richard Eller and Cory Colbaugh. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackson Lewis, Ethan Cline and her church family. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
