Mary Sue “Susie” Perry

Mary Sue “Susie” Perry, 63, of Bluff City, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, June 30, 2014, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Perry was born in Carter County, a daughter of the late Charles and Emma Jean Sluder Bullock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Mitchell Perry, in December 2007; a brother, Chucky Bullock; and a sister, Lori Bullock.
Mrs. Perry was retired from Snap-On Tools of Johnson City. She was a member of Bunker Hill Christian Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Conley Perry, of the home; two sisters, Carol Deloach and husband Eddie, Jonesborough, and Janie Glover and husband Steve, Thomasville, N.C.; a special brother-in-law, whom she loved dearly, Lawrence Perry, Bluff City; and a special niece, Missy Thompson, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Perry will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Mr. Ernie Depew, minister, officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service, or at the residence at anytime. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 3, in the Jones Cemetery, Big Arm Road, Bluff City. Active pallbearers will be Marty Estep, Kim Perry, Denny Scalf, Tommy Scalf, Mickey Carr, Billy Nelson and Douglas Perry. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Scalf and Lawrence Perry. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home in Elizabethton at 10:15 a.m. Thursday to go in procession. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to Bunker Hill Christian Church/Building Fund, 490 Bunker Hill Road, Bluff City, TN 37618.
