Schedule of activities for the week of  July 7-11:

Monday through Friday: Workout on Fitness Equipment; Billiards; Card Games; Checkers; Puzzles.

Nutrition Site Coordinator Jacquelyn Whitehead invites you to enjoy a good, nutritious lunch daily at 11 a.m.

Monday: “Just Keep Movin’” Cardio/Toning/Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Sign Language, 10 a.m.; Lunch — Meatloaf, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga, noon-1 p.m.; Gentle Flow Yoga, 1:15-2:15 p.m.

Tuesday: Bowling, 10 a.m.; Lunch — Chicken Alfredo, 11 a.m.; Shopping at Wal-Mart, 12:30 p.m.; Line Dancing with Sharon Pilk, 1-2:30 p.m.

Wednesday: “Just Keep Movin’” Cardio/Toning/Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Blood Pressure Check with Walgreen’s Pharmacy Staff, 10 a.m.; Preventing Vision Loss from Diabetes, a program and handouts provided by Eye-Care America, 10 a.m.; Lunch — Stuffed Pepper Soup, 11 a.m.; Chair Yoga, noon-1 p.m.; Gentle-Flow Yoga, 1:15-2:15 p.m.; Zumba Gold, 3-4 p.m.

Thursday: Gospel Singing, 10 a.m.; Devotions with Eric Heaton, 10:15 a.m.; Lunch — BBQ Chicken, 11 a.m.; Oil Painting, noon-4 p.m. Bob Ross Method with instruction by Jay Holdway. Cost is $48 and includes instruction and all materials to complete a picture.

Friday: “Just Keep Movin’” Cardio/Toning/Strength Building, 9-10 a.m.; Blood Pressure Check with Hermitage Health Center, 9:30 a.m.; Bingo with Hollis, 10 a.m.; Lunch — Turkey Sandwich, 11 a.m.; Ballroom Dancing, noon-1:30 p.m. with instructors from Johnson City Ballroom, $10 per person. Singles/Couples/Beginners welcome!

Members are invited to come and exercise in our air-conditioned fitness room — equipped with treadmills, bicycles, weight machine, Nu-step, and elliptical steppers.

* COMING UP: SUMMERTIME BREAKFAST BUFFET on Friday, July 18, from 7:30-10:30 a.m. Adults $6. Children 10 and under $3. Make plans to attend — and bring a friend! All proceeds go for operating expenses at the Senior Center. Music provided by Sheriff Chris Mathes and Friends.
