Rocky Top Gun Permit School will hold a Tennessee Handgun Permit training class beginning at 8 a.m. at the B&K Community Center on the Old Bristol Highway in Elizabethton. A new Nar-Anon Family Group will meet Monday nights at 7 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 603 Sunset Drive, Johnson City, near the mall. This is a support group for family and friends of people with addiction problems. Enter by back door of the church. For more information, call 972-2974.
Cancer Prayer Support Group for cancer patients and their supporters will meet at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 325 E. E St., Elizabethton. The group, which meets the third Monday of each month, will offer educational sessions on nutrition, exercise, detoxing and more. The group is non-denominational.
