The Southern Countrymen Band will perform at the Handle Bar & Grill, 8310 East Andrew Johnson Highway, Chuckey, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Rocky Top Gun Permit School will hold a Tennessee Handgun Permit training class beginning at 8 a.m. at the B&K Community Center on the Old Bristol Highway in Elizabethton. Cancer Prayer Support Group for cancer patients and their supporters will meet at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 325 E. E St., Elizabethton. The group, which meets the third Monday of each month, will offer educational sessions on nutrition, exercise, detoxing and more. The group is non-denominational.
