Rickey G. Humphrey

Rickey G. Humphrey, 62, of New Market, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014, at the family home.
Rick was a retired mechanic at Reeder’s Chevrolet, where he worked for over 21 years.
Rick was a devoted son, husband, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was extremely proud of his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lem and Myrtle Humphrey; his favorite aunt, Vada; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Humphrey of New Market; his mother, Letha Dial of Elizabethton; grandson/son, Terry (Andrea) Brooks; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Brooks; special cousin, Duane (Karen) Blevins; special sister-in-law, Doris Finley; and a host of other special friends.
Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Fielden Chapel with Rev. Jess Sherrod and brother Barr Bunch officiating. Interment was at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Jefferson Memorial Garden. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the services, at Fielden Funeral Home.
Fielden Funeral Home, New Market, was in charge of arrangements.
