Elizabethton designated hitter Trey Vavra had a career night at Joe O’Brien Field on Monday evening with six runs batted in and third baseman Tyler Mautner drove home four runs as the Twins dominated Greeneville 13-6.

With the win, Elizabethton (23-14) opened up a 41⁄2-game lead on the Astros in the Appalachian League’s West Division. Greeneville fell to third place with Johnson City’s 2-1 win over Bluefield.
