A summer day provides the perfect setting for a pact. However, the odds of them coming true usually decrease with the temperatures.

That wasn’t the case for Jordan Taylor and Josh Peterson, two lifelong friends who decided to promise one another to make it through college.

“We told each other that no matter what happened the next four years, we weren’t going to let anything come between the dreams that we have of playing (sports) in college and graduating together,” Taylor said.
