Happy Valley takes a trip to Roan Mountain tonight to play a Cloudland team that was victorious last week.

The Highlanders recorded a 6-0 victory over Avery Co., while the Warriors dropped a brutal contest to Volunteer 21-13.

“Half of the teams in America lose on Friday and half of them win,” Happy Valley head coach Larry Shively said. “So you can never be to high or so low after a win, ’cause you don’t want it to affect your week’s preparation for next week’s opponent, because we certainly have our hands full with Cloudland.”
