ERWIN—Under a blazing sun, Corey Russell quickly scorched the field at Gentry Stadium.

The Jr. Cyclone took a 71-yard, game-opening kickoff return to the house — starting a 48-12 T.A. Dugger victory against Unicoi County Middle School on Tuesday night.

TAD (4-0) brought a stout defensive in the first, highlighted by Austin Outland’s 55-yard interception for a score. Chris Taylor also got in the fun, hopping on a botched punt by the Blue Devils.
