The rain held out for a while in Roan Mountain Friday night as the Johnson County Longhorns paid a visit to the Cloudland Highlanders.

It was a hard-fought game, but the Highlanders came away with a 26-14 victory.

The state’s third-ranked Class 1-A Highlanders moved to 4-0 on the season, while Johnson County fell to 1-2.
