MANCHESTER—On a very windy and tough day to play golf in Middle Tennessee, Jamie Hinkle had a very solid round in her first Class A/AA state tournament.

Hinkle shot a quite respectable 91 in the opening round of the state tourney at Willowbrook Golf Club and will be looking to even lower that score today in the final round of the event.

Hinkle finished tied 21st out of 55 golfers on day one.
