It was all about the battle up front for Bulldogs.
Hampton (4-1) used 244 yards on the ground from tailback Jerry Lunsford and three touchdowns and two interception returns from Coby Jones to score a 30-22 victory over Johnson County (2-3) at Paul H. McEwen Stadium Friday night.
“At times we after won up front, but we did especially there in the second half,” HHS head coach Mike Lunsford said. “Big Lucas (Holtsclaw) sprung Jerry on a couple of those bigs runs.”
