Homecoming couldn’t of been any sweeter for the Unaka Rangers as they picked up their first victory of the season in a 50-24 decision over Hancock County on Friday night at Goddard Field.
“Anytime you get a win it’s good and these kids deserve it,” Unaka head coach Steve McKinney said. “And what better way to win then on homecoming.”
The offense finally found itself as Unaka was able to outscore their entire season production of points (18) in the first half with 24. That was in big part because of the performance by junior Micah Hunt.
