Warriors, Cyclones on opposite ends of spectrum

The Happy Valley Warriors are painted up and looking to fend off the storm from Elizabethton’s Cyclones tonight at Brown-Childress Stadium as they hunt for their first win of the season.

“Elizabethton has a very good football team,” said Happy Valley head coach Larry Shively. “They are scoring 50 points a game for a reason. They have a big strong offensive line, and one of the best running backs in East Tennessee — and other backs, really, that can run the ball. They have big tall receivers that can go up and get the ball.
