Avery County stuck to a ground and pound game plan, and it worked all night long as the Vikings stopped Unaka 35-0 on Friday night at Goddard Field behind 110 yards from junior quarterback Luke Crow.
“My offensive line blocked real well tonight, all the credit goes to them,” Crow said. “I feel real comfortable in the offense and think I can run it well.”
Two first-half fumbles by Unaka (1-5) set the stage for a pair of Avery County touchdowns and a 21-0 halftime advantage for the Vikings.
