Two great show lined up this month at Heritage Hall

Heritage Hall in Mountain City will host Barter Theatre’s performance of “Wash, Rinse, Spin, & Dry” Friday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. The play is the story of a single mom with a job waiting tables. Janelle barely has time to play her music, much less go on a date. She definitely knows better than to get involved with an actor, but sometimes a girl just has to do what she has to do. The morning after is hilarious, sweet and a little bit awkward, especially when Janelle realizes she’s seen Darren somewhere before….but where?
Saturday, Oct. 18, The Volunteers-U.S. Army Field Band is back at Heritage Hall by popular demand.
The Volunteers, formed in 1981, is a six-piece musical show band that takes the best popular music and blends it in a show that appeals to all ages. The group has performed before millions of listeners throughout America and abroad.
Recent tours have included performances in Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Mexico, the Mardi Gras in New Orleans and a tour of the Hawaiian Islands. The Volunteers also perform annually at Disney’s Epcot Center for its Memorial Day celebration. This group performed here in 2012 and is back by popular demand
Admission is free with ticket.
Heritage Hall is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing great shows for great prices to the area. Most tickets are $10 advanced and $12 at door. Most youth seats are $5.
