A “survive-and-advance” mentality has the Unaka Jr. Rangers gridiron season going for one more week.

Unaka rode two-touchdown performances from Carlos Aleman and Garrett Stiltner to score a 34-7 win over Camp Creek in the Tennessee Middle School Athletic Association Class A playoffs held at Goddard Field on a rainy Thursday night.

With the win, the Rangers will play host to the winner of McDonald and Sullivan Gardens on Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 6 p.m.
