U-Time’s Jr. Rangers were able to make some history for Stoney Creek on the gridiron on Tuesday night, collecting a 42-12 win over the McDonald Hornets in the TMSAA East Sectional’s Area 1 championship in front of a packed house at Goddard Field.

“God is good all the time,” Ranger head coach Donald Ensor said. “And all the time, God is good. It has been a rough week with the passing of Roger Dale Taylor. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and it has been rough on everybody … in the spring, my mother’s sister, Hazel Rader, passed away and this is right up her alley.

“All season long, we’ve battled through adversity and this group has overcame so much. I couldn’t be happier with the way they performed this year and they represented our area with class and dignity all season long.”
