GRAY—Next weekend in Nashville, it will be a fun time for the Lady Cyclone cross country team — and they will be bringing a boy with them to join in the fun.

The Elizabethton Lady Cyclones, led by a region title from Maci Shell and a top-four finish from Emily Schubert, finished second in the Region 1-A/AA cross country meet and, as a result, will be heading to the state meet to compete as a team.

Cody Baker of the Cyclone boys team will be joining the girls after a fourth-place finish at Daniel Boone High School.
