Sometimes a superior athlete can simply carry a team. On Thursday evening it was Corey Russell who helped carry T.A.Dugger to a resounding 48-16 home win over Liberty Bell.

Russell scored 21 points and had six steals to help lead the Junior Cyclones’ rout.

“I am tickled to death to have him on this team,” Jr. Cyclones head coach Barry Johnson said. “He had a great game tonight. He’s a great kid and very humble, and I think he is the best player in the conference.”
