Cloudland, HV, EHS girls come out on top

The Mullins Thanksgiving girls basketball Classic at Bayless Gymnasium opener on Wednesday pitted Cloudland against Sullivan South. Senior guard Kendall Mull led the Lady Highlanders with 18 points as Cloudland earned a 64-49 win.

Sullivan Central 57
Happy Valley junior post Kalee Johnson scored 16 points after a slow start and added 10 rebounds for a double-double that propelled the Lady Warriors to an easy win.
Game Three
Elizabethton 74
Cherokee 19
A balanced offense and swarming, relentless defense helped the Lady Cyclones (3-0) to a blowout win over Cherokee. The Cyclones forced 27 turnovers with 18 coming off steals, and junior forward Kayla Marosites was the leader in that department with six.
