To return to the glory days of their program, Unaka High School turned back to the man who led them to the state tournament in the mid-2000s and brought championships on the girls basketball side to Stoney Creek.

Last week’s Greene County Thanksgiving Classic gave people a glimpse of the future when Unaka reached the tournament semifinals and took North Greene to overtime in that game, even having a chance to win in regulation.
