Lady Warriors trip Rebels; HV boys come up short

After a turbulent start, the Lady Warriors sailed to a Three Rivers Conference win against the Lady Rebels inside of Happy Valley High School Tuesday night.
“3-1 (in the TRC), that was our goal. We just have to keep battling and playing hard,” Happy Valley head coach Larry Abel said.
Happy Valley was led to its 64-48 victory by junior Kalee Johnson, who recorded another double-double as she totaled 28 points and 13 rebounds.
Sullivan South 67, Happy Valley 58
The Warriors, despite a hard-fought first half, were not able to hang with the Rebels.
Sullivan South was spearhead by twin performances from Evan Headrick and Colton Young, who both posted 15 points for the game.
