The homestanding T.A. Dugger Jr. Cyclones were able to improve their record to 7-1 with a 48-33 victory over Knox Webb middle school on Wednesday night.

“We did really well and we have gotten off to a really good start this year,” TAD coach Donnie Shipley said after the match at Treadway Gym. “We came out and hit our moves like we were suppose to. “I was really impressed with Carson Stressman tonight. My starting 151 had a family obligation so he couldn’t be here, so (Stressman) stepped up from being JV 141 and lost a close one in overtime. So going up and wrestling a weight class like that, I was really pleased with him.”
