Investigators with the Elizabethton Police Department are asking for help from the public in identifying two suspects in a reported theft earlier this month.
The theft occurred on Dec. 1 shortly after 2 a.m. at the Elizabethton Wal-Mart, said EPD Capt. Joy Shoun.
“A male and female enter the store and are observed selecting clothing, a flat screen TV, and assorted bedding items. The female suspect then exits the store and moves a small four door car – blue or purple in color – to the front doors,” Shoun said. “The male then pushes the cart of merchandise past all points of sale and out the exit door where he loads it into the vehicle.”
The value of the stolen merchandise is in excess of $600, Shoun said.
Anyone with information can contact the Elizabethton Police Department at (423) 542-4141 or Crime Stoppers (423) 542-7574.
