Work continues on new stadium

School officials hope to have the stadium complete in time for the next football season.
Construction site work has begun at Elizabethton High School as the school system moves forward with a project to build a new stadium.
A portion of the current parking lot has been cordoned off to make parking available for construction crews and equipment. Graders and backhoes can been seen working to on leveling the site and moving soil and rocks.
The school system is hoping construction will be completed and the field ready for the 2015 football season.
