Mountain States Health Alliance and Wellmont Health System have launched a new website, becomingbettertogether.org, at 9:45 a.m. this morning. The website explains that the two health systems have “agreed to exclusively explore the creation of a new, integrated and locally governed health system designed to address the serious health issues affecting the region and to be among the best in the nation in terms of quality, affordability and patient satisfaction.”

Tabs on the site offer information concerning the timing of the decision, the vision, how the systems will come together, and updates on the progress of the merger process.
