EHS volleyball ends losing streak, wins match against Blue Devils, 3-0

The Lady Cyclones were able to snap out of a losing streak Tuesday night, defeating the Lady Blue Devils in three straight games.
The Lady Cyclones will be back on the court Thursday as they make the trip to Johnson County.
EHS was able to top Unicoi 3-0 — 25-21, 25-20 and 25-20.
Mackenzie Norwood led the Lady Cyclones offensively with eight kills. Her teammate Rachel Robinson had six kills and 11 assists, while Mary Beth Biggs posted four aces and 16 digs.
“We came out with a lot of energy tonight,” EHS head coach Leslee Bradley said afterTuesday’s game. “Toward the end of the first game, we let Unicoi make a run, but we were able to hold them off.
“Once we got the first set, we played with more confidence in sets 2 and 3.”
