The Carter County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a logging accident that claimed the life of a 30-year-old man on Tuesday. The accident happened in the Dennis Cove area of Hampton. The name of the man killed has not been released at this time.
The accident happened late Tuesday afternoon. Carter County Sheriff Dexter Lunceford said the investigation is in the very early stages and no information is being released at this time.
