The Minnesota Twins’ first-round pick Alex Kirilloff will be in Elizabethton Friday where he will hit the diamond for the Elizabethton Twins this season.

Kiriloff, an 18-year-old from southwest Pennsylvania, was the 15 overall pick during the 2016 MLB Draft.

According to mlb.com, Kirilloff is an outfielder who is consistent at the plate. On the mound, Kirilloff’s fastball has been clocked at 87-90 mph.

The Elizabethton Twins are making their to town and will be at Joe O’Brien Field for media day Wednesday, before heading to Kingsport for their season opener.
