The Summer Concert Series at Roan Mountain State Park continues this weekend with a little music and a little magic.
On Friday evening, local music group The Roan Crows will take the stage at the Park Amphitheater. Prepare to rock out with The Roan Crows as they dish out crowd-pleasing favorites from 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s rock and roll classics. These guys are loads of fun, don’t miss ‘em!
Then on Saturday, as part of the park’s annual Independence Day Celebration, the amphitheater will be filled an air of magic and mystery. This special performance features Mister Mystery and his magick show.
How does he do it? It’s a mystery! This amazing magic show will have you gasping in wonder, scratching your head, and laughing out loud. Definitely family-friendly entertainment at its finest.
All performances will be from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at the Park Amphitheater. In the event of bad weather, the concerts and other performances will be relocated from the amphitheater to Picnic Shelter 3, which is located next to the park campground.
The performances are free and open to the public, not just to those staying in the cabins or campground at the park. Donations to the park will be accepted at the events and will be used to help the park continue to provide free programs and entertainment for visitors.
