The City of Elizabethton will be working on West Elk Avenue between Broad Street and Walnut Street to repair the sewer line. Work will begin approximately 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, and will continue through the night until the repair is complete. Also, the water crew will be working on a fire hydrant at North Pine and East Cottage beginning at or around 10 p.m. Thursday. Customers in this area may experience low water pressure or no water until repairs are completed. The city thanks residents for cooperation and patience in the matter.
