The Summer Concert Series at Roan Mountain State Park will conclude for the season this weekend with back-to-back nights of music.
On Friday night, popular local musicians The Roan Crows will take the stage at the Park Amphitheater. Prepare to rock out with The Roan Crows as they dish out rock and roll classics along with crowd-pleasing favorites from the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. These guys are loads of fun, don’t miss ’em!
Then on Saturday night Bandwagon Fallacy will perform for the crowd.
This groovy band hails from just over the mountain in Buladean, N.C. Bandwagon Fallacy is sure to entertain with a mix of old-time favorites and touching originals from classic rock, country, folk and soul.
All performances of the Summer Concert Series will be from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at the Park Amphitheater. In the event of bad weather, the concerts and other performances will be relocated from the amphitheater to Picnic Shelter 3, which is located next to the park campground.
The performances are free and open to the public, not just to those staying in the cabins or campground at the park. Donations to the park will be accepted at the events and will be used to help the park continue to provide free programs and entertainment for visitors.
